Why we love this deal
Filling a storage bench with warm blankets at the foot of your bed can be quite helpful on chilly nights. However, the convenience of a classic chest goes well beyond that. The versatile design fits in just about any room, whether that’s in the entryway as a spot for putting on shoes, in the living room as a coffee table with hidden storage, or by the mudroom to tuck away mittens and snow boots after arriving home on a cold day. You can find many versions of this traditional furniture, but one with a charming farmhouse appearance feels extra special because it looks like an antique gem that’s been passed down through the generations.
Adding this practical piece of storage to your home is more affordable than you may expect. The Hzuaneri Wooden Storage Chest, which is durable enough to double as a sturdy bench, is currently 43% off, bringing the total cost to under $100.

Why do shoppers love it?
With a 64-gallon capacity, this storage chest has ample room for your bulky blankets and decorative pillows. To maximize storage space, it has a longer footprint, measuring 47.2 inches long, 15.7 inches wide, and 19.1 inches tall. This size is about a foot shorter than a queen-sized mattress, so if you want to place the chest in the bedroom, it’s just the right size to center at the end of your bed. It has handles built into each side, so you can move it around if needed. You will need a little muscle power to accomplish this task, since the sturdy build weighs around 40 pounds.

It’s the little touches that make this storage bench so impressive, starting with the timeless farmhouse design. The X-shaped paneling along the base, inspired by classic barn doors, adds vintage appeal, while the wood grain lid brings rustic flair. While it may look like real wood, the chest is actually made from thickened particleboard and steel, and it’s incredibly sturdy with a 330-pound weight capacity. One of the best things about this chest is the soft-close hinges, which will keep the lid open at any angle under 60 degrees. This prevents smashed fingers and loud crashes, which is especially helpful if you have young children in the house.
