Tommy Teepell is a white Christian nationalist. He’s also a former Josh Hawley staffer. Tommy got completely destroyed by Abdul El-Sayed in a town hall where he thought he was going to get a gotcha when he asked El-Sayed if he disavowed the Muslim Brotherhood.
In a four-plus minute exchange with Teepell (below), El-Sayed explained why Muslims are subject to the same U.S. Constitution as everyone else, why the First Amendment applies to Muslims and Christians alike, and the inherent bigotry in Teepell’s original question.
Here’s how El-Sayed addressed Tommy’s original question about “disavowing the Muslim Brotherhood,” a question Tommy admitted was because he wanted to show that El-Sayed had dual loyalties.
TT: I have one simple question. Will you disavow the Muslim Brotherhood?
AES: Sure, yeah, absolutely.
This is Tommy. Tommy had a question about my allegiances. Listen to the end to hear about his.
