Why we love this deal
As temperatures begin to cool, it can feel more pleasant to spend time in your backyard or patio. However, that’s only true if you’re not sharing your gazebo with all sorts of creepy crawlers. Insects can put a real damper on any outdoor activity, so finding a way to keep them at bay is imperative. Thanks to Amazon, you may be able to beat the bugs once and for all, and you can do it for an affordable price. It’s selling a solar-powered bug zapper for close to half off, and it even includes a mood-setting light projection.
The Zechuan 2-in-1 Solar Powered Bug Zapper and Projector is a steal at just $47. The original price is $80, so we’re buggin’ out at this 41% off deal. If you want to get one before they sell out, we recommend putting it in your cart now.

Why do shoppers love it?
This isn’t just any old bug zapper. It has bells and whistles that most don’t even realize are available on a zapper. The first of these features is that it’s solar powered. It has a large panel atop the zapper grate that gathers energy from the sun throughout the day. It then powers it all through the night. That’s especially convenient in the rainy months, as plugging something into a wall outlet when you could have a downpour at any time is just plain dangerous. It also saves money on your monthly electric bill. That said, it’s able to be powered from a wall outlet whenever you want. While the solar-powered functionality is convenient, it’s hardly the most exciting thing about this handy device.
While it utilizes 4500 volts to keep the insects away, it also has a high-efficiency design that keeps it on all night long without fail. This specific model can cover an area of 2,100 square feet, which is a greater area than most standard zappers. With an IP66 waterproof rating, it’s perfectly safe to keep this device outside year round. A little bit of rain won’t cause it any issues. It includes a hanging chain and a ground stake, making it a versatile pick for just about any backyard configuration. At this price, you may be wise to get one for hanging from the tree and another to stake into the ground to make sure you’ve got both the highs and the lows covered.
In addition to the traditional bug-zapping functionality, this impressive piece of outdoor tech has another trick up its sleeve. As mentioned above, it doubles as a light projector, with a multicolored bulb. It has 14 dynamic lighting modes, which offer great mood lighting for your space. It’s a good way to make the bug-zapping portion a little less noticeable in the glare of the projector. If you don’t wish to use the light projector, it comes right off and can be stored elsewhere.
