Sen. Tommy Tuberville put in another bid to be the dumbest man in the US Senate with a really oddball warning.
Tuberville was giving an anti-trans speech because the Republicans have nothing else to talk about, like Trump’s war with Iran, gas prices, grocery prices, etc. Suddenly, in the middle of his nonsensical rant, he went on an even more nonsensical tangent:
Many – listen to this – many airline pilots, flight attendants, and air traffic controllers are part of the furry community. Lord help us. It’s terrifying when you think about this. When you all go into a commercial flight, it’s possible that the pilot flying your plane could have a deranged fetish of dressing up like an animal. You can’t make this up
Y’know, I’m pretty sure that Tuberville did make that up.
Tuberville does have to clarify a couple of things, like what do furries have to do with transgender people? Does he think furry is a gender – man, woman, or furry? He’d better notify Nancy Mace as soon as possible that she’s been wrong about there being only two genders all these years.
Also, has he talked to Trans Secretary Sean Duffy about this? Is Duffy supplying kitty litter boxes for the air traffic controllers? How do the furries fit into his anti-DEI? Is Tuberville going to demand a hearing to grill Duffy on why he has furries in the air traffic control towers?
Inquiring minds want to know.
