Whether Collins was serious or just giving off a false sense of bravado, because she’s now in a race where she’s expected to lose in November to Democrat Troy Jackson, the mere thought of Susan Collins remaining in the U.S. Senate until 2039 should fill anyone paying attention with disgust. In March, she vowed that if she wins in November, it would be her last. I guess we will see if Susan Collins’ gaslighting exercises, like this Politico interview, work yet again in November. I can’t imagine that Maine voters are that stupid and gullible, but I’ve said that before.

In a long interview with POLITICO’s Jonathan Martin published Wednesday, Maine Senator Susan Collins opened the door to seeking a seventh term in office if she wins again in November, and said she thinks President Biden is “totally” the reason voters care about candidates’ ages this year.
