Newly appointed White House Chief of Staff Stephen Miller wasted no time expressing his cringeworthy loyalty to Donald J. Trump during a speech at Mar-a-Lago on Friday night.
Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference’s Circle Retreat and Gala, Miller revisited Trump’s 2015 presidential campaign launch, declaring that the United States wouldn’t even exist today if Trump hadn’t come along. Seriously.
“It was the privilege of a lifetime to join President Trump all the way back in 2015 when he came down that golden escalator,” Miller said. “And let me tell you, if it wasn’t for President Trump, the United States of America would not exist right now. This man saved America.”
That wasn’t a history lesson. It was a hostage note written to Trump’s ego. Miller seems to have confused the United States with the Trump Organization, but you be you, boo.
Miller credited Trump with saving everything from the military and the economy to the southern border, claiming the president had rescued the country from threats both at home and abroad. He also praised Trump for taking a bullet, facing the possibility of prison, and rescuing the Republican Party from political oblivion.
“He saved our military from collapse,” he insisted, after taking a break from gargling the president’s balls. “He saved our economy from destruction. He saved our border from annihilation. And he saved our country from threats at home and abroad, which would have been the end of the American dream forever.”
