Senator Foghorn Leghorn is extremely unhappy about the fact that he’s going to have to help defend what should have been some safe seats for them in the Senate:

On Thursday, reporters caught up with Kennedy outside the Capitol, where he told them he never thought he would be fundraising and campaigning for Republican Senate candidates in red states.
Why he’s surprised, given how unpopular Dear Leader is, is beyond me, but here’s his statement to reporters:
KENNEDY: I’m going to Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa to help raise money and campaign for our very good candidates. If you told me six months ago I was going to be having to spend my time in those three states, I wouldn’t believe you.
Those ought to be fat guy layups for us. Now we’re going to win there, but the races are close.
Yeah, keep telling yourself that.
