Why we love this deal
Farmhouse design is all about classic comfort, and there are many ways to infuse its charm into your space. Farmhouse cabinets are one of our favorites, blending the style’s timeless designs with practicality perfectly. But if you want to lean into the comfort aspect, a farmhouse bedding set is just what you need. Farmhouse bedding looks and feels cozy, with light colorways and classic patterns. Plaid is a popular farmhouse bedding design, and there are some beautiful options at Macy’s that can help you get the charming farmhouse look without breaking the bank.
The Emmett Plaid 8-Piece Comforter Set is on sale at Macy’s for just $40. With 60% off its regular price of $100, you save big on eight pieces that would otherwise cost significantly more if you purchased everything separately.

Why do shoppers love it?
Plaid is as classic as it gets. You can use the pattern regardless of the season, whether it’s in the spring or summer during the warmer months, or when the temperature gets colder in the fall and winter. This comforter set features plaid with shades of light gray, white, and blue, creating a bright and airy color combo. During the fall and winter, it would look great paired with more texture and layers, like a knit or faux fur blanket. Thanks to its reversible design, you also get a solid tone on the other side, with a soft, light blue/light gray color. It’s perfect for anyone who likes to change up their bedding frequently, without taking up extra room in your linen closet to fit extra comforters.
The shams match the comforter set, with plaid on one side and a solid color on the other. The bundle also comes with its own sheet set, saving you the hassle of having to find one that matches. It includes a flat sheet, a fitted sheet, and two pillowcases that have the same light hue as the solid side of the comforter. Additionally, you get a bed skirt, which doesn’t usually come with a standard sheet set. This addition ties the look together, hiding away anything under your bed to look clean and mess-free.
