Former Trump aide laughs as ‘Epstein Bookmobile’ heads for TX convention

Former Homeland Security chief of staff Miles Taylor flagged that President Donald Trump’s midterm Republican convention is drawing more than his fans to the Dallas, Texas, metro area for the festivities.

“If the GOP wants this week to be all about Trump, then let’s have the convention attendees see for themselves the scandal that epitomizes his corruption,” said Taylor. “And let’s make sure they hear from the survivors of Trump-Epstein abuse, who will be flying into Dallas to be there.”

According to Taylor, a planned “Trump-Epstein Bookmobile” tour is en route to Texas and will bring roughly 3.5 million publicly available pages connected to the Justice Department’s Jeffrey Epstein investigation to locations around the United States. It’s part of an effort by his organization, DEFENSE.org, and the Institute for Primary Facts. Its first scheduled stop is Dallas, timed to coincide with the Republican Party’s first midterm hoedown. Organizers say that survivors of Epstein’s abuse will also attend.

The files have previously been printed and exhibited in a New York installation; reporting described that project as containing millions of pages bound into thousands of volumes.

“The convention is already shaping up to be a bizarre symbol of cultish loyalty to one man. Trump insisted upon the two-day pep rally, even though GOP candidates are worried about associating with him, given his historically weak poll numbers,” he explained.

Meanwhile, House GOP members running for relection are being told they must pay over $25,000 just to attend. It’s causing some problems in the GOP because Trump hasn’t even opened his own campaign coffers to help out Republican candidates.

“It doesn’t get Trumpier than that,” quipped Taylor. “The whole event apparently exists to celebrate him, to tell the stories he wants to tell, and to paper over his misconduct with confetti. Well, the president can count on one thing next week: there will be paper. We’re going to make sure of it.”

The traveling document tour is supposed to highlight the lack of accountability and the Republican lawmakers’ unwillingness to continue the congressional investigation, particularly in the House Oversight and Reform Committee.

“My former boss, Donald Trump, thinks he can outrun his own corruption and evade the Epstein survivors,” closed Taylor. “He cannot. That’s why we put the files on the road. The convention itself lasts only two days. But these documents will be criss-crossing America for two months, then through the midterms, and then as I noted they will follow him into whatever comes after his presidency, until every remaining page is released and every enabler is named. Because of such efforts, the investigation will be reopened one day.”

If Democrats take back the House, the Oversight Committee will likely order further investigation into the Justice Department and what documents were withheld from the release of the files.
