Dr. Bandy Lee, a renowned forensic psychiatrist and president of the World Mental Health Coalition, is now sounding the alarm bells on the “extremely dangerous” decline of President Donald Trump’s mental health.
Dr. Lee’s warning came during her recent appearance on MeidasTouch’s “The Weekend Show,” where they discussed Trump’s unabashed attempts to weave himself into the history of 9/11 as a selfless hero, even though his ever-growing list of lies and tall tales about this nation’s greatest tragedy have been repeatedly disproven — something Dr. Lee says proves just how “fragile he is in his sense of self.”
In the days leading up to and then during the 9/11 commemoration ceremony this month, President Trump repeatedly claimed to have been pulled out of the rubble at Ground Zero by a crew of big, burly firefighters, as the building was about to collapse. He also further doubled down on claims that he sent teams of “hundreds” of his own construction crews to respond to the terrorist attack. Countless fact-checkers have thoroughly chewed up and spit back out both claims, and even his own nephew has weighed in to flat-out call him a liar.
Referring to this behavior, Lee said Trump’s actions are very similar to a toddler trying to be “king or queen of the universe.”
