Why we love this deal
Corelle is one of those household names that is known for its durability and longevity. My family had a Corelle dinnerware set (the classic one with the gold flower and butterfly pattern), and I’ve been using a modern set with square plates and bowls for years. I also have a true vintage set from the ’70s with green flowers that I got at an estate sale tucked away in storage. So it’s safe to say I’m one of the many fans who can attest to why the dinnerware brand is so popular, which is why I was excited to see an adorable set for under $40 at Walmart.
The Corelle Country Cottage 12-Piece Dinnerware Set is only $37, and it has a vintage-style look that adds personality and charm to everyday essentials. The same pattern is available on the main Corelle website for almost double the price, making it one of the more affordable deals you can get on this popular set.

Why do shoppers love it?
You don’t need to run to your local antique store to get Corelle’s vintage-style designs. The Country Cottage dinnerware set features a beautiful pattern with periwinkle flowers, hearts, and soft green vines around the edges, giving the set a retro vibe that looks like it was passed down from one generation to the next. In the set, you get 12 pieces in total. There are four 10.25-inch dinner plates, four 6.75-inch appetizer plates, and four 18-ounce bowls. The plates have that floral pattern, while the bowls feature two stripes that match the rest of the set perfectly.
The pieces are crafted from a triple layer of Vitrelle glass, which is known for being lightweight yet durable. The lightweight design makes the pieces easy to hand wash, but it’s still heavy-duty enough to hold up in a dishwasher and manage day-to-day wear. The dinnerware is not only dishwasher safe, but also okay to use in a microwave or a freezer. The set can even be used in preheated ovens up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Last but not least, the pieces stack together seamlessly, with the ability to be efficiently stored in a cabinet without taking up a significant amount of space.

Because of the set’s style and durability, it makes a great addition to any home, whether it’s for yourself or for your loved ones. A customer wrote that they make a “great housewarming gift,” but with the holidays coming up, they make a great holiday dinner upgrade or gift.
