President Donald Trump will attend midterm rallies in Kansas and Iowa on Sunday, resurrecting the events just hours after the White House announced it was canceling them.
“President Trump loves his supporters, and in addition to nearly 20 tele-rallies, he will hold back-to-back rallies in Kansas and Iowa on Sunday,” a source familiar with the situation told The Washington Sun, saying that the rallies were “rearranged for scheduling purposes” so that the president could attend more tele-rallies over the weekend.
“No one works harder, fights harder, or loves the American people more than President Donald J. Trump!” the source said.
Trump had been scheduled to attend a Saturday rally in Kansas with Sen. Roger Marshall and a rally in Iowa on Sunday with Republican Senate candidate Ashley Hinson.
All of which was news to Roger Marshall in Kansas yesterday.
