The intern, a Canadian woman of Chinese origin , worked at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE), NATO’s strategic command in Mons, Belgium, where she “has come to the attention” of security services, according to the Belgian Federal Prosecutor’s Office. “At this time, there is no indication that NATO or SHAPE operational readiness, command and control arrangements, or ongoing tasks have been adversely affected,” Martin O’Donnell, SHAPE spokesperson, said in a statement.
