TBD no more: between this weekend’s rumblings and JR Ritchie’s 3.2 innings of relief in last night’s loss to San Diego, today’s moves aren’t suprising.

Martín Pérez has been activated and is set to start tonight’s game. He has been sidelined since July 6 after suffering a 92 mph liner to the left forearm in his outing versus the Mets, and don’t ask about what happened after he exited. Pérez (6-6, 3.54 ERA) had struggled a few consecutive starts following a different comebacker in late June, but will be aiming to bounce back and do his part to stabilize the rotation.

In a corresponding move, JR Ritchie will board the Gwinnett shuttle and head back to Triple-A.
