Things are beginning to ramp up for Atlanta Braves star Ronald Acuña Jr., who appeared in his third rehab game with the Florida Complex League on Thursday. During Thursday’s contest, he drew two walks and hit a grand slam.
Acuña has served as the designated hitter in all three rehab appearances as the Braves gradually increase his workload. The next step will likely be getting him back into the outfield before he’s activated, but Thursday’s performance was another positive sign that his return to Atlanta could be right around the corner.
