Bill Clinton is remembered for a lot of things, but I do not recall brutal humor being one of them.
During a rally in Florida for gubernatorial candidate David Jolly, the former president delivered an anti-Trump line for the ages:
“I think Congress made a mistake not protesting turning the Rose Garden into what looks like the entrance to Liberace’s bathroom.”
The crowd roared with laughter.
Clinton made that remark on Tuesday but it went viral on Saturday after Fox & Friends Weekend aired it, TheWrap explained. The fact that Fox News popularized the takedown made it even more satisfying,
TheWrap also noted that some on Xitter felt it was an unfair dig at Liberace.
All kidding aside, Clinton is right about Congress.
