America’s Two-Tiered Justice System Strikes Again

In 2025, Elon Musk committed election bribery by offering two people $1 million to vote in the state supreme court race. The Wisconsin Election Commission voted 5-1 that it was likely that he committed a crime and referred the matter to a couple of district attorneys for their consideration.

This week, the two-tiered justice system struck again when La Crosse County District Attorney Tim Gruenke announced that he was not going to press charges against Musk because he didn’t believe a jury would convict him.

The mealy-mouthed Gruenke said that he didn’t think he could convince a jury to convict Musk because nothing of value was given for voting. Even one of his beneficiaries said on video that Musk gave them the million-dollar check for voting for Musk’s favored candidate, Brad Schilling.

I’m sure a lot of Gruenke’s cowardice comes from fear of Trump’s money and his high-priced, silken-stockinged lawyers. It’s also a far cry from the case of Crystal Mason, who was convicted and sentenced to prison for five years for illegally voting while on supervised release, even though no one told her she couldn’t vote.
