TheStreet aims to feature only the best products and services. If you buy something via one of our links, we may earn a commission. Why we love this dealArtificial intelligence isn’t just a term to describe our politicians’ cognitive prowess. It’s also currently one of the biggest driving forces behind the U.S. economy. You don’t need a fancy pair of smart glasses to see that the stock trends of companies like NVDA, MSFT, and GOOGL are evidence of this paradigm shift. The market is moving away from more traditional customer-facing stocks and toward artificial intelligence-related sectors. Thanks to another market giant, Amazon, everyone can get in on the AI boom in a more personal way for almost nothing. The Kasioo AI-Enabled Noise-Canceling Earbuds are currently just $5. That’s the lowest price they’ve been in the past month, and there’s no telling when the price might shoot back up to its original range. Headphones from other brands that offer similar functions cost well over $400 on Amazon, so this is a special deal.Kasioo AI-Enabled Noise-Canceling Earbuds, $5 at Amazon

Shop at AmazonWhy do shoppers love it?As a bilingual person myself, I was skeptical the first time I heard about these types of translation earbuds. I understand the nuance of language and how it can be lost in translation (for lack of a less-overused phrase). That said, I was impressed the first time I tested a similar set. My parents were heading to Italy and wanted to try out translation earbuds for their trip. I was shocked at how quickly and accurately they worked and was convinced of their value almost instantly. This specific model is similar to the ones I tried, in that they use AI for translation, have ANC and ENC noise cancellation, and a response time of less than a second. In addition, this pair has access to over 150 languages, a 98% accuracy rate, and a snug comfortable in-ear design. Aside from the translation aspect of the earbuds, they’re also great for enjoying music and podcasts as well as making and receiving phone calls. You can also utilize AI personal assistant apps with the earbuds, making them even more indispensable. However, I don’t recommend taking them in the water as they have only nominal water resistance. The aforementioned noise cancellation is an especially useful feature for those who make phone calls regularly with the help of earbuds. They have a noise-canceling microphone built-in that blocks out ambient noise. That allows whoever is on the other end of the line to hear a crisp clear voice every time. Speaking of clarity, the dual stereo drivers that produce the sound from within are powerful and accurate, delivering an immersive sound experience, no matter what you’re listening to. They also have a battery life of 10 hours of continuous use and 20 hours of life when using the charging case. All of this comes with a charge time of only 90 minutes. They’re available in one colorway, though more options would’ve been a nice addition.Related: Walmart is selling a $200 2-in-1 laptop and tablet for only $109Pros and cons of the Kasioo AI-Enabled Noise-Canceling EarbudsProsTranslation feature: The earbuds have an AI-enabled translation function with access to over 150 languages.Connectivity: The Bluetooth 5.4 connection capability makes for a quick and easy connection with your device.Battery life: The earbuds have up to 20 hours of battery life on a single charge with the use of the convenient charging case.Cons Water resistance: You only get minimal water resistance with these earbuds, meaning you won’t want to wade or swim with them.Colorways: The earbuds are only available in a single colorway, which could be confusing if multiple family members buy a pair.Amazon shoppers thought this sounded like a great deal. One called them “comfortable and versatile,” before adding, “It helps bridge the language gap…These headphones have become a fantastic addition to my travel essentials…I use it not only to translate, but also to make phone calls and listen to music.”Shop more deals Tozo Active Noise-Canceling Earbuds, $28 (was $50) at AmazonTagry Bluetooth Earbuds, $25 (was $40) at AmazonGeneric Active Noise-Canceling Earbuds, $50 at AmazonWhether you’re a savvy tech investor or an AI-uninitiated college student, the Kasioo AI-Enabled Noise-Canceling Earbuds are likely to put a smile on your face. At just $5, there’s no excuse not to make this investment, unless we’re just not speaking the same language.
