Despite getting himself into so many of them, it seems Donald Trump doesn’t actually understand how war works, or what happens to all your munitions stockpiles when you use them to bomb school kids.
According to a new report from The Washington Post, President Trump is growing increasingly frustrated with the clusterf*ck of a war he personally picked with Iran, and now he’s looking to Pete Hegseth for answers on where all his bombs and missiles went.
Reporting broke earlier this week confirming that the United States military is in the midst of a massive shortage of long-range guided missiles and air-defense interceptors, as Donald Trump’s chosen war with Iran bleeds (both figuratively and literally) into its 6th month, with no end in sight. Most specifically and most crucially, the US is running dangerously low on Terminal High Altitude Area Defense systems, which creates an exceedingly problematic and dangerous situation for US military personnel who are on the ground in the Middle Eastern countries that Iran has been regularly dropping bombs on.
