As I’ve previously written, Jeffrey Epstein’s Zorro Ranch in New Mexico was mentioned more than 13,000 times in the Epstein files. Yet Todd Blanche, on the precipice of being confirmed as attorney general by spineless Republicans, has refused to provide New Mexico with the material needed to pursue crimes there.
This, alone, should be enough to stop his nomination. But since Republicans are A-OK with Trump’s slush fund and a lifetime permit to cheat on his taxes, there’s little reason to believe the “family values” party will act according to any such thing. That’s on top of the fact, in the video above, that Blanche misleadingly testified, during his confirmation hearing, that he is “continuing to work with” New Mexico’s criminal investigation to get the information it needs.
The New Mexico Department of Justice said in a press release that “federal records include evidence of grooming, trafficking, sexual abuse, and other misconduct tied to the property and to individuals associated with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.”
