The gem portion, which features circular, oval, and navette shaped stones, has a diagonal band of blue topaz, measuring 1-¾ ct. t.w., and London blue topaz, measuring 1-½ ct. t.w., running down the hoop length of the earring. For those who don’t know, London blue topaz differs from standard blue topaz in that it has been specifically, deeply saturated to be a darker hue. While blue topaz is generally lighter and more electric, London blue topaz has a rich, inky color, and in this case provides some dimension to the earrings since they aren’t just one shade of blue.
The diagonal line of gemstones has silver braided elements along the side of it, as well as a thin strip of gold mixed in to create a two-toned accessory. There are also twisted, rope-like silver elements along the side of the hoop to give the earrings even more texture.
