When the news broke that the national deficit hit the $40 trillion mark, Sen Ron Johnson went on Xitter to condemn it, saying that we are “mortgaging our children’s future” and calling it “immoral.”
He issued his condemnation while quote-tweeting a post from Fox that pointed out that $11.5 trillion of that, or about one-fourth of it, was due to Trump. The Fox post also included a chart showing how the deficit climbed over the years. Keep in mind that RoJo was first sworn into office in January 2011. At the time, the deficit was less than $15 trillion. This means that over $25 trillion was added to the deficit during his watch.
What the hell was he doing during all that time? Well, a handy community note explains that $3.4 trillion was added when RoJo voted for the One Big Bullshit Bill.
This doesn’t include the trillions added by the 2017 GOP Tax Scam.
RoJo isn’t the solution. He’s part of the problem. He’s just too dumb to know it.
